Fun day.

My bicycle broke 10km from home. A long walk, nature and Fall Out Boy’s newest record - all got much appreciated.

Sometimes we forget the little things in our hurry through life..This example popped onto my dash and made me remember that..

Starts bad “My bike broke 10k from home” - Oh Fuck!! :(

Oh wait, it’s nice… I can walk….I can just take it easy, throw on some music and enjoy taking in anything and everything from the visual feast offered up before me…

Good times, well done….

There’s some wonderful street art in Sofia, I am looking forward to capturing it’s stories during my next visit…
Although there is street art where I am at the moment, it feels somewhat forced and lacks the power of what I’ve witnessed in Sofia…

If a group of aliens were to stop me and ask, “Say, bud, how many miles an hour does the earth spin at the equator?” I’d be in a fix. Hell, I don’t even know why Wednesday follows Tuesday. I’d be an intergalactic joke.

I never get tired of this photo.

Ella Fitzgerald was not allowed to play at Mocambo because of her race. Then, one of Ella’s biggest fans made a telephone call that quite possibly changed the path of her career for good. Here, Ella tells the story of how Marilyn Monroe changed her life:

“I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt… she personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front table every night. She told him – and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status – that the press would go wild. The owner said yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard. After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman – a little ahead of her times. And she didn’t know it.”
